Open Beta invite codes

Invite codes are how we onboard our first cohort during Open Beta. They grant 60 days of Premium with no card and no auto-renewal. Binding terms in the Terms (§3).

What is an Open Beta invite code?

A short alphanumeric code in the format BETA-XXXXX-XXXX (uppercase letters, digits, and dashes only). Each code is first-come-first-served, tied to a usage cap, and time-limited. Once the cap is reached or the code expires, it stops working — even if other people haven't redeemed it yet.

Where do I get a code?

We share codes through our official social channels and partner sites during Open Beta. Follow us, watch out for our launch posts, or — if a friend already has a Premium account through a code — ask them about our latest one.

We don't sell codes, and any third-party site offering paid “Study Smart AI codes” isn't legitimate.

How do I redeem one?

  1. Sign in with Google at study.smartaisolution.co.uk (one click — we don't use passwords).
  2. Open /beta, paste the code, and submit.
  3. Premium activates instantly. You'll see “Premium until [date]” on your dashboard.

One code per account. You can only redeem once across all codes.

What happens when the 60 days end?

Your account reverts to the Free plan automatically. You will not be charged — no card was ever taken. If you want to continue with Premium, head to /pricing and subscribe; if you do this before the 60 days run out, Stripe defers your first charge until the day after your grant ends, so you keep every Beta day you were promised.

How do I know when my 60 days end?

Your dashboard shows “Premium until [date]” — that's the exact date your grant expires. We'll also email you a reminder a few days before it ends (sent to the email address you signed in with).

Can I transfer the code or get a refund?

No. Codes are non-transferable, non-refundable, and non-redeemable for cash. They're a free trial, not a purchase. Once redeemed, the code is consumed and cannot be reused on another account.

It says my code is “invalid or exhausted”

Most common reasons:

  • You've already redeemed a code on this account (one per account).
  • The code's usage cap was reached (codes are FCFS).
  • The code expired.
  • Typo — codes are uppercase letters, digits, and dashes only.

We deliberately use the same error message for all of these to avoid letting people guess valid codes. If you genuinely think your code should still work, email support@smartaisolution.co.uk with the code and where you got it.

Yes — see Subscription & billing → Stacking with a Beta code. Short version: redeem the code first, subscribe after; Stripe defers your first charge so you don't lose any Beta days.
